“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving others in our community. As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, food banks across Arizona are responding to unprecedented needs. They are serving more families, while dealing with a shortage of both donations and volunteers.
Maricopa County is home to dozens of food banks and kitchens. Many offer warm meals on-site, while others collect and distribute food boxes to give to families for free.
"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly." – Martin Luther King, Jr.
